Who Am I?

My name is Tom. Tom Sawyer to be exact, and many of you may know me as a husband, a father, and a proud veteran who has fearlessly served our country. I've cherished every moment of my life, from the bonds with my family to the camaraderie with my Charleston family, and Florida motorcycle crew. Life has been a beautiful journey, filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

However, in recent times, I've been faced with a daunting challenge. Kidney failure has unexpectedly entered my life, disrupting the very fabric of my existence. It's a battle I never anticipated fighting, but one that I must confront with courage and determination.

I'm not one to shy away from difficult conversations, and I firmly believe in confronting adversity head-on. That's why I'm here and asking for your help. I need a kidney transplant to continue living the life I hold so dear.

How A Kidney Transplant Will Affect My Life:

Now my life consists of going to dialysis three times a week for 4 hours a session. When I get a transplant, this will allow me to start living again!

I am a Vietnam Veteran. I served in the army in 1970 to 1972.
