Who Am I?

I am a 67 yr old grandmother of 7 (5 girls, 2 boys). Though most live out of state, I do have 2 granddaughters that live near me.  They are now pre teen and teen, so not as much time for grandma and grandpa :). I am still working part time from home (that is all that dialysis will let me do...LOL). My partner, MIke is a tremendous help to me. Since dialysis treatment utilizes most of my day, I am hoping to one day see things more normal (whatever that is) or at least gain a little more time for my interests and hobbies.

My Interests:

I enjoy crocheting, painting, gardening, baking, and being in the pool as much as possible,
Just about anything that is creative, I will try.

My Diagnosis:

I was diagnosed with ESRD.

How A Kidney Transplant Will Affect My Life:

The #1 big thing is that it will get me OFF THE MACHINE!! I think it will allow more time for family, friends, quality time, an easier ability to take little trips with the family. After all of that, it will be retirement time!

My Blood Type: B
