Who Am I?
I am an African American female with a history of systemic lupus erethomoptosis. I developed lupus nephritis 1 year ago as a result and now I’m suffering from end stage kidney failure. I am a retired law school administrator. I love my family, volunteering with children and the elderly. Before becoming ill I took care of my 96 year old mom until her death, traveled on missions trips to Jamaica Boys Home ran by the Catholic Church.
My Interests:
I love reading, fishing and taking nature walks at Stone Mountain Park. Previously, I was very active in social and civic activities, until my health failed me.
My Diagnosis:
End stage Renal Failure
How A Kidney Transplant Will Affect My Life:
A transplant will save my life and afford me the opportunity to once again help others and bring joy to them, as well as to myself. It will allow me to finish out the purpose God has laid out for me. I will be able to continue ministering and assisting those less fortunate however I can, here in the United States and abroad.
