Who Am I?

I am 56 and live in Greensboro , NC. I have been married to the greatest man for 21 years, but together for 27. I have one adopted son and 3 grandchildren. All under 4 years of age. They are the joy of my life. I love the beach.  I usually go to Myrtle Beach, SC but anywhere the sand and sun meet is good with me.  I spend as much time there as I can with family and friends. I’m also a muscle & classic car geek. I have a Challenger but my favorite is the classic Mustang. My husband and I go to car shows and cruise ins.  I’m searching for a living kidney donor with blood type O.

My Diagnosis:

I lost my left kidney at 16 due to a blockage & infection and part of my right kidney in my 20’s due to issues I was born with. My remaining part is failing and I really need to find a living donor. 

How A Kidney Transplant Will Affect My Life:

A transplant will give me a chance to live a normal life and a chance to see my grandchildren grow up and be a part of their life, instead of being tied to dialysis schedules & being sick. I don’t want to be a burden to my husband & family.
